Senior Designer
Ruby is a multidisciplinary graphic designer with a passion for all things cultural and creative. She seeks to develop well-crafted, concept-driven solutions for Shift’s clients, with a strong belief that design has the power to transform a project, event, business, and the overall quality of life.
From a young age, Ruby often found herself working with her hands, exploring all the ways in which letterforms can be drawn. Lettering and typography is still a strong influence on her work today.
Prior to moving home to Pittsburgh in 2019, Ruby worked as an editorial designer for Charleston magazine in Charleston, South Carolina. During her time there, she gained experience in everything from print layout design to on-set prop styling for a range of photoshoots featuring the city’s food, fashion, and people. Additionally, Ruby has recently worked on projects involving branding local eateries and creating illustrations for a health and wellness book.
