The Ellis School
Located in Pittsburgh’s East End, The Ellis School is an independent, all-girls, college-preparatory school serving ages 3 to grade 12. Since 2014, Shift has aided in Ellis’ mission to educate girls and young women to become bold, authentic, and intellectually vibrant changemakers through a number of implemented digital strategies and paid campaigns.

Connecting Families with The Ellis School
We collaborate with The Ellis School to measure and track the impact of their digital and offline campaigns using tactics such as unique landing pages and lead tracking.
Our digital strategy and tracking efforts have helped the school to identify which tactics are giving a positive return on investment by resulting in leads, applications, and enrollments.

Campaign optimization and testing of ad copy, student images, alumnae quotes, and stories ensure we meet the objective of accurately and beautifully representing Ellis’ brand.
Our designers work closely with The Ellis School team to create brand-aligned graphics for digital ads on various online platforms.
Through monthly reporting, we also advise the staff on how they could receive more traffic from search engines by identifying opportunities and making recommendations on how to improve website content.
Summer Program Marketing
Shift works as an extension of The Ellis School marketing team in developing robust campaigns that lift up their already-strong brand, extending to their summer offerings: Co-ed Kids Camp and Changemakers Lab.
We develop a multi-channel marketing plan, with Ellis’ target audience and budget in mind, ranging from local ad placements to digital advertising campaigns, to both generate awareness and acquire quality leads among Pittsburgh parents. The Shift team takes this strategy from planning, to development, to implementation, regularly doing data analysis and optimization, to ensure continual learning and growth.
